Yahoo's president, Susan Decker is pushing a plan to centralize "numerous product groups, such as its mail, search and homepage divisions, into a global product organization amid intense pressure to boost earnings." the Wall Street Journal reported.

Details of the plan could be announced as early as next week. Planning for these changes picked up after Yahoo announced Jeff Weiner, executive vice president of Yahoo's Network Division, would be leaving the company.

Today TechCrunch  reported that three more executive will be leaving Yahoo. Vish M
akhijani, senior vice president of search, will be leaving to work for a Russian search engine Yandex. Qi Lu, Executive Vice President for the Search and Advertising Technology Group, also has notified Yahoo that he is leaving the company.  Brad Garlinghouse is leaving but it's not clear where where he is headed, "the rumor is multiple private equity firms are vying for his attention."

Last week, executive vice president Usama Fayyad and the co-creators of photo sharing site Flickr, Stewart Butterfield and Caterina Fake, have also said they are leaving the company.

Yahoo said in a statement: "We have a deep and talented management team across all areas of the company. Our successful implementation of our core strategies and the timely rollout of key products this year testifies to the effectiveness of our team, and we continue to recruit outstanding talent."
